6th, 14, the five – day China Road Cycling League (Shenyang·Kangping Station) in 2026 came to a successful conclusion in Kangping, Shenyang. A total of 20 representative teams from Beijing, Shanghai, Yunnan, Liaoning and other places, as well as individual cyclists, signed up for the competition. The event included individual time – trials, mixed team time – trials, urban circuit elimination races, and individual races, presenting a series of wonderful road cycling feasts for the national audience.
This website’s cycling events are hosted by the Chinese Cycling Association, supported by the Liaoning Provincial Sports Bureau and the Shenyang Municipal People’s Government, and organized by the Shenyang Sports Bureau and the Kangping County People’s Government. They are executed by the Kangping County Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television (Kangping County Sports Bureau), Shenyang Kangyi Urban Development and Construction Co., Ltd., and Wanhongfei(Beijing) Sports Culture Co., Ltd.
6th, 10On the first day of the competition, the men’s and women’s individual time trials kicked off first. The 34.2-kilometer and 30-kilometer tracks by Wolong Lake became the stage for cyclists’ individual races.Xu Zhaoliang from Merida Norco Team and Zhu Shimeng from Ningxia Rayleigh Bicycle Team won the men’s and women’s individual time trial championships respectively. The local riders also showed remarkable strength, kicking off an exciting start to this event.
6th, 11 marked the start of the team competition. The mixed team time trial, with a 50-kilometer course, tested the teamwork and coordination of each team. In the end, the Hunan team, with an absolute advantage of being first in both the men’s and women’s groups, won the highly prestigious team gold medal with a total team time of 1 hour 2 minutes and 7 seconds, becoming the biggest winner of the day. The Yunnan team, with its excellent overall strength, won the silver medal. The host Liaoning team performed outstandingly amidst the cheers of the home – crowd, showing a tenacious fighting spirit and successfully won a precious bronze medal.
6th, 12th, in the morning at8:30, an opening ceremony was held at the People’s Government of Kangping County. Liu Kebin, the Deputy Mayor of the Shenyang Municipal People’s Government; Wang Dong, a member of the Party Group and the Deputy Director of the Liaoning Provincial Sports Bureau; Wang Lixun, the Secretary of the Kangping County Party Committee; Qi Xin, the Deputy Secretary of the Kangping County Party Committee and the County Mayor; Li Huanfa, a member of the Party Group and the Deputy Director of the Shenyang Sports Bureau; Han Feng, the Deputy Secretary – General and the Director of the Competition Service Department of the Chinese Cycling Association; Wang Dawei, the Director of the Standing Committee of the Kangping County People’s Congress; Xuan Weitie, the Chairman of the Kangping County Political Consultative Conference; and Tang Xuezhong, the General Manager of Wan Hongfei (Beijing) Sports Culture Co., Ltd. attended the opening ceremony and gave the starting signal for the race. The urban circuit elimination race kicked off in full swing. The 9.9 – kilometer single – lap urban track combined with the elimination – system rules made the competition highly competitive. The Liaoning team took the top spot at home. Liu Yize and Chen Sining won the men’s and women’s urban circuit elimination race championships respectively.

June 13 saw the highlight of this station’s competition, the men’s individual race. The 153.6-kilometer ultra-long-distance men’s individual race kicked off the endurance competition. In the end, Wang Kuicheng, a rider from the Henan Badiru Bicycle Team, stood out in the mass sprint at the finish line. Thanks to the excellent performance of the lead-out riders from the Henan Team and his precise timing to start the sprint, he won the championship of the men’s individual race. Zi Ze and Li Xi from the Yunnan Team finished second and third respectively.
6th, 14The final battle of the event kicked off. The 123.9-kilometer women’s individual race connected several landmarks such as Qizhou Ancient City and Liaohe Wetland Park. Zhu Shimeng from Ningxia Ruibao Cycling Team won the women’s individual championship with a time of 3 hours, 01 minutes and 50 seconds. Chen Sining from Liaoning Team won the second place, and Gao Qianqian from Yunnan Team took the third place, thus drawing a perfect end to the Kangping Station event.
This event is held in Kangping, Shenyang, which is a vivid practice of the in – depth integration of sports events and local culture and tourism. Kangping boasts several regional cycling benchmarks. It has created a unique dedicated cycling training road with Balu Mountain, the highest peak in Shenyang. The track around Wolong Lake and the 100 – mile Liaohe River track have been rated as the most beautiful lakeside cycling tracks in the country. Relying on its unique mountain and lake landform advantages, it has officially been listed as a provincial and municipal – level professional cycling training base. The base is equipped with a full set of professional facilities for physical training, vehicle maintenance, accommodation, and health care, and can host national – level events and training sessions for professional sports teams. Based on its various characteristic resource advantages, it integrates multiple formats such as cycling sightseeing, sports research and study, equipment support, and event operation, extends the entire bicycle industry chain, and creates a top – notch cycling sports characteristic high – ground with high recognition in Northeast China.
Meanwhile, Kangping has a profound cultural heritage. More than 30,000 cultural relics in the Kangping Museum tell the story of a millennium – old civilization. The ancient Liao – dynasty pagoda and the ruins of Qizhou Ancient City witness the years of the Liao and Jin dynasties.37The 37 – meter – high Tenglong Pavilion combines the ancient and modern styles. The local sports atmosphere is strong. Self – developed sports IPs such as the Wolong Lake Marathon, the Balihu Mountain Cross – country Challenge, the Triathlon, and the Desert Cross – country Race are booming.IP
