June 10, 2026, the China Road Cycling League (Shenyang Kangping Station) officially kicked off in Kangping County, Shenyang. The top domestic cyclists gathered again in this “Pearl of the North”, in the poetic picture of “half mountains and waters, half city”, and started a five – day exciting competition.
This website’s cycling events are hosted by the Chinese Cycling Association, supported by the Liaoning Provincial Sports Bureau and the Shenyang Municipal People’s Government, and organized by the Shenyang Sports Bureau and the Kangping County People’s Government. The Kangping County Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television (Kangping County Sports Bureau), Shenyang Kangyi Urban Development and Construction Co., Ltd., and Wan Hongfei(Beijing) Sports and Culture Co., Ltd. are in charge of the implementation.
As2026a crucial stop in the middle of the China Road Cycling League, the event has once again landed in Kangping, a small northern city known as the “Hometown of the Liao and Jin Dynasties”. This small city, which boasts a three – dimensional ecological landscape of mountains, waters, forests, farmlands, lakes, grasslands and deserts, welcomes cyclists from all over the country to gather here.
The first competition dayfeaturedthemen’s and women’s individual time trials. The start and finish points of both events were set in the Kangping Economic Development Zone. The race track is adjacent to Wolong Lake, the largest plain freshwater lake in Liaoning. The road surface is flat and open, accompanied by the beautiful scenery of the lake and mountains, creating an excellent competition environment for the athletes.
The men’s individual time trial covers a total distance of34.2 kilometers, while the women’s individual time trial covers30 kilometers. The individual time trial highly tests the cyclists’ ability to allocate physical strength and control rhythm.The pleasant climate and high – quality roads in Kangping in June also provide excellent conditions for cyclists to achieve good results.
The men’s individual time trial was fiercely competitive, with many strong cyclists taking turns to compete, and the best track records were constantly being refreshed. Xu Zhaoliang from the Merida Norco Cycling Team was in excellent form, precisely controlling the rhythm throughout the race. He won the men’s individual time trial championship with a time of 41 minutes 57 seconds 96. Zhao Chenli from the Yunnan Team came in second, closely following Xu. Luo Pengpeng from the Hunan Team performed steadily and won the third place. The cyclists competing on the same stage demonstrated the strong strength of the new generation in the domestic men’s road cycling event.
The women’s individual time trial was also full of highlights, with female cyclists from all over giving their all. Zhu Shimeng of the Ningxia Ruibao Cycling Team continued her excellent form from before and won the women’s individual time trial championship with a result of 40 minutes 56 seconds 46. Wei Qianqian of the Jiangsu Shenying Carbon Fiber Cycling Team took the second place, and Zhao Wenhui of the Hunan Team won the third place. The cyclists galloped on the track by Wolong Lake, combining speed and beauty, and demonstrated the tenacious and hard – working sports style of female cyclists.
The first dayof the racefeatured exciting matches, kicking off the Shenyang Kangping Station event with a great start. On June 11, the event will see the competition of the mixed team time trial. This event tests the overall strength of the team and the tacit cooperation among the players. Male and female cyclists will compete together, and the exciting showdown of team collaboration is worth looking forward to.
