June<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>11<\/span><\/span><\/span>, <\/span><\/span>2026<\/span><\/span><\/span> marked the second competition day of the China Road Cycling League (Shenyang\u00b7Kangping Station). The highly anticipated Mixed Team Time Trial officially kicked off. This event is a captivating team event in the league, placing extremely high demands on the comprehensive strength of the team, tactical arrangements, the rotation and cooperation of cyclists, and team cohesion. It is also a core event to test the team strength of each participating team.<\/span><\/span><\/span> In the end, the powerful Hunan team stood out and won the championship with a significant advantage.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The start and finish points of the mixed team time trial are set in the Economic Development Zone of Kangping County. The total race distance is<\/span><\/span>50<\/span><\/span><\/span> kilometers, divided into two stages of<\/span><\/span>25<\/span><\/span><\/span> kilometers for men and women respectively.<\/span><\/span><\/span>Each team sends<\/span><\/span>3<\/span><\/span><\/span> male and<\/span><\/span>3<\/span><\/span><\/span> female athletes, a total of<\/span><\/span>6<\/span><\/span><\/span> athletes to participate. According to the competition rules, the female relay team members need to start the relay when the second male athlete of the previous leg passes the finish line, and the finishing time of the second female athlete is taken as the final team finishing time of the cycling team.<\/span><\/span>The closely – linked race system makes every cyclist a key to the team’s victory.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The atmosphere at the race track was extremely lively that day. After the start, each team quickly entered the competitive state. The cyclists maintained a well – coordinated formation in the team time trial, creating a series of speeding scenic views on the track beside Wolong Lake.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Hunan team established a stable high-speed rhythm right from the start. Male cyclists<\/span><\/span><\/span>Zhao Mingxu<\/span><\/span><\/span>, <\/span><\/span><\/span>Luo Pengpeng<\/span><\/span><\/span>, <\/span><\/span><\/span>Yang Cang<\/span><\/span><\/span> demonstrated strong time-trial abilities, laying a solid foundation for the team. Subsequently, the female cyclists<\/span><\/span><\/span>Zhao Wenhui<\/span><\/span><\/span>, <\/span><\/span><\/span>Dou Jing<\/span><\/span><\/span>, <\/span><\/span><\/span>Wang Shiyu<\/span><\/span><\/span> continued the team’s strong performance, with skilled team rotation techniques.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In the end, the Hunan team, with an absolute advantage of finishing first in both the men’s and women’s groups, successfully won this highly valuable team gold medal with a total team time of <\/span><\/span>1<\/span><\/span><\/span> hour, <\/span><\/span>2<\/span><\/span><\/span> minutes and <\/span><\/span>7<\/span><\/span><\/span> seconds, becoming the biggest winner on the field that day. The traditional strong team, the Yunnan team, won the silver medal with their excellent overall strength. The host Liaoning team performed well in the cheers of the home – court audience, showing a tenacious fighting spirit and successfully won a precious bronze medal.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The mixed team time trial has come to an end, and the sports spirit of teamwork was perfectly demonstrated on the Kangping race track. <\/span><\/span>June<\/span><\/span><\/span> 12<\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/span><\/span>‘s event will feature the exciting urban circuit elimination race, divided into men’s and women’s categories. <\/span><\/span><\/span>The starting and finishing points of the race will be moved to the People’s Government of Kangping County. <\/span><\/span>The circuit elimination format is full of uncertainties. We look forward to the cyclists continuing to go all out and staging more exciting duels. <\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
